We’re partnering with Commit-Boost and Fabric to push preconfirmation standards forward — together, we're laying the groundwork for a based rollup future on Ethereum.
Based rollups are emerging as Ethereum’s most aligned scaling path — but to get there, we need shared infrastructure, common language, and open standards. That’s where this collaboration comes in.
We are working closely with Commit-Boost and Fabric to:
🧩 Get Commit-Boost in the hands of more Ethereum validators
🚰 Expand the PBS Pipeline for seamless preconfirmations
📚 Create open standards for based rollups through Fabric
No tokens, no paywalls — just public goods. Everything we do here is open-source and non-profit.
Commit-Boost is a validator sidecar that makes it easy for Ethereum validators to participate in preconfirmation protocols. Already live and audited, Commit-Boost is a collective effort across 70+ teams in the Ethereum community.
It’s also a core part of Taiko’s preconfirmation stack — enabling fast, reliable transaction feedback for rollup users and developers.
Fabric (short for Fabric to Accelerate Based Rollup Infrastructure & Connectivity) is the next layer up — a minimal, shared toolkit for all based rollups.
So far, Fabric includes:
🛠 Standard proposer commitments
🔌 APIs for preconfirmation-aware block building
📜 Smart contracts like the universal registry
Fabric is designed for neutrality and composability — and it’s already attracting contributors from across the Ethereum L2 landscape.
By driving standardization and unifying efforts across Ethereum, these initiatives aim to bring L1 preconfirmations to market by 2025, enabling Taiko's based rollup strategy and strengthening the foundation for all based rollups.
Ethereum’s future is based. Let’s build it!
