Taiko Ambassador Program

Ethereum has come a long way in its seven-year life — changing the world, in our opinion — but it is only just getting started.

Scaling Ethereum at a technical level, as ZK-EVMs aim to do, is just one (huge) part of the equation in bringing it to the world - there is also the need to… actually bring it to the world!

That’s why we are initiating the Taiko Ambassador Program.

We need help in spreading the word that Ethereum scales securely and that you can use your existing solidity code, dapp, toolchain, or product with an Ethereum-equivalent ZK-Rollup. If you are interested in joining us in this effort, we welcome your participation.

You can fulfill one or several functions:

Developer advocacy and relations
Educational content creator
Community organizer

Some ambassadors may focus strictly on developer goals, some on community awareness, some on a mix.

The mandate of the ambassador is to assist, advocate, and educate within the community of Ethereum/Taiko developers and users. Given this is the first iteration of the program, you may help shape the program as much as you participate in it.

You should consider applying if:

You are a developer or researcher experienced or interested in Ethereum and ZKPs, and have the ability and desire to teach, communicate, and facilitate the experience of other developers.
You are not a developer or researcher, but have a strong understanding of Ethereum and ZKPs, and an aptitude for educating people and/or community organization.
You are a clear communicator, possess patience, and have a strong desire to move the needle on whatever you participate in.

You can expect the following from the program:

Ability to work closely with the team and community to achieve the above-articulated goals
Monthly rewards
Ability to progress to a full-time role within Taiko Labs

Applications will remain open until Friday, January 13, 23:59 UTC. We will seek to onboard approximately 2 to 4 ambassadors in this first cohort and will re-open the program again once we have some feedback and more capacity.
