Ensuring Fair Play & the Trailblazer Role

As always, we carefully analyzed participation data to filter out bad-faith actors and those who tried to game the system. After these eliminations, levels were recalculated based on the remaining player count, and final ranks were determined. So, this may cause your level to shift based on the remaining player pool.

This season, we took your feedback seriously and kept the checks strict (claims, too!). We also introduced the Trailblazer role to help identify the most committed participants. However, we still rewarded those who didn’t receive the role, since this was its first season of implementation. Learn more about the Trailblazer role and the process here. 

Taiko Status Effect & Looking Ahead

We also introduced a new perk: Taiko Status. If you have Taiko Status, you’ll receive extra XP to help you climb the Trailblazers ranks.

So, consider how to strategize with your freshly earned rewards, the bigger your Taiko Status, the more bonus XP you’ll earn. Want to increase your Taiko Status? Earn points based on your TAIKO tokens. Learn more here.

As mentioned, those who didn’t get the Trailblazer role still received some rewards, leaving some tokens unclaimable. We will use the remaining funds to put towards future community engagements, stay tuned on what's coming in the near future.

Season 4 may be over, but Trailblazers continues. Season 5 is ON, and more TAIKO tokens are up for grabs. So keep trailblazing and climbing the ranks. Exciting developments lie ahead in the Taiko ecosystem, be a part of it!
