The time has come to reveal the winners of our Grant Factory Hackathon!

Ethereum is rooted in the unwavering commitment to truth, decentralization, and openness. This is a commitment, we at Taiko have strived to support and grow since the launch of our mainnet in May 2024. As the first-ever based rollup, we eliminated the need for centralized sequencers, proving that there don't need to be compromises when it comes to decentralization. We have grown rapidly since then, processing around 550 million transactions so far. But we are far from completing our work.

As the first based rollup ever, building a strong and thriving community is a vital mission for us. To support projects that want to build on Taiko and connect them with our existing community, we are happy to introduce Taiko Takeoff.

The Grant Factory hackathon winner of the community voting segment is being determined by YOU in a Taiko-native MACI voting round, a concept introduced by Vitalik Buterin and built on infrastructure developed by DoraHacks.
